Add your travel

Once voting ends, the jaunt gets a How page in the bottom bar. It’s one travel plan for the whole group, split into Way there and Way back.

Anyone in the jaunt can add, edit or remove travel. Until voting ends, How shows as “Locked until voting is complete”.

Add travel

1. Open the jaunt and tap How in the bottom bar.
2. Pick Way there or Way back.
3. Tap the +.
4. Under Select travel mode, pick Plane, Train or Taxi.
5. Fill in the details (below), then add it.

Buses count as Taxi, and the Tube or metro counts as Train.

Tap the + to try it. This is a sample: nothing is saved.

Plane

1. Pick the day and type the flight number, for example “BA328”.
2. Tap Search. Jaunt looks up the flight’s times and airports.
3. Add the Booking reference and Total price. Both are needed.
4. Turn on Cabin bag or Checked luggage if they’re included.
5. On the way there, turn on Add return flights? to add the flight home too.

Train

Train routes only cover London for now.

1. If there’s a flight already, Jaunt asks “Match to … flight?”. Tap Yes to fill in the date and the airport for you.
2. Otherwise, pick the date and time, then type Travelling from and Travelling to.
3. Tap Search.
4. Turn on Requires ticket if people need to buy one.
5. Tap Quickest to add the fastest route, or Add all to add every option.

Turn on Add meeting point to say where and when the group meets, for example “Waterloo, under the clock”.

A train that needs tickets shows up on Docs & Tix.

Taxi

1. If there’s a flight, Jaunt can match to it, the same as a train.
2. Enter a UK postcode (postcode only) and the place you’re going to.
3. Tap Search, then Quickest or Add all.
4. Turn on Pre-booked? if it’s booked, and add the price and any details, like the driver’s name.

Edit or remove travel

Tap the edit button on a card to change it. To delete something, open it and swipe it left.

Editing either flight of a return trip edits both together.
