Vote on where, when and stay

Everyone in the jaunt can add options and vote. There are up to three votes, one for each question that isn’t decided yet:

Vote	The question
Where	Which city?
When	Which dates?
Stay	Where do we sleep?

If something was decided when the jaunt was made, it shows Decided and there’s nothing to vote on. See Create a jaunt.

How to vote

Tap the ♥ on an option. The number next to it is how many people voted for it.

• Tap the ♥ again to take your vote back.
• You can vote for more than one option.
• You can change your votes any time until voting ends.

Where: add places

1. Open the jaunt and go to Where.
2. Tap the +.
3. Pick a country, then a city.
4. Tap Add.

Each person can add up to 3 places. “Selected places: 2/3” shows how many you’ve added. To remove one of yours, tap the × next to it. You can only remove places you added.

Switch between Carousel view and List view at the top.

Which places can I pick?

Places come from a set list, each with its own photo and weather. Right now there are 64 cities in 19 countries:

France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, Greece, Netherlands, Croatia, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, United States, Morocco, Thailand, Turkey and Mexico.

More cities are coming.

When: add dates

1. Open the jaunt and go to When.
2. Tap the +.
3. In the calendar, tap your first day, then your last day.
4. Tap Add.

You can only pick days inside the jaunt’s Date range, shown above the calendar. Turn on Heat map to see which days most people picked. Tap a day’s bar to see who’s free.

The top three date ranges are shown, with ▲ next to the one in the lead.

Stay: add places to stay

1. Open the jaunt and go to Stay.
2. Pick the place the stay is for, from the row of places at the top.
3. Tap the +.
4. Paste a booking link, or type a name like “Gran’s cottage”.
5. Add the £ total cost of stay if you know it.
6. Tap Add.

A booking link pulls in the name, photo and price. If a site doesn’t share its price, type the total yourself.

Who’s winning?

The option with the most votes is in the lead. Once voting ends, it gets a Winner chip and becomes the plan.

If something goes wrong

You see	What it means
“You can only add up to 3 places”	Remove one of yours first
“You can only remove places you added”	Ask the person who added it
“Date range must fall within the jaunt’s set date range”	Pick days inside the Date range above the calendar
Closed at the top of a vote	Voting has ended. An admin can reopen it: see Reopen voting
