Invite and manage people
There are two ways to get friends into a jaunt:

Add someone by phone number
Section titled “Add someone by phone number”- Open the jaunt and go to Who.
- Tap the + next to Joined.
- Enter their phone number and tap Search.
- Then:
- They already use Jaunt: you’ll see their ID card.
- They’re new to Jaunt: type their Full Name, for example “Jack Murray”. This is what the group sees until they sign up.
- Turn on Make admin if they should be able to run the jaunt too.
- Tap Add.
They get a text like this:
Hi Jack, Matt has invited you to “Barcelona weekend” on Jaunt. Tap to join -> (link)
They show under Pending until they tap Join. If they already use Jaunt, the invite also appears on their home page under Invited.
Right now you can only add UK (+44) numbers. To invite a friend abroad, send them the invite link.
Share the invite link
Section titled “Share the invite link”- Open the jaunt and go to Who.
- Tap the + next to Joined.
- Tap Copy invite link.
- Paste it into any chat.
Anyone who opens the link can see the jaunt and tap Join. They join as a member, not an admin. An admin can make them one afterwards.
Pending invites
Section titled “Pending invites”The Pending card lists everyone who’s been invited but hasn’t joined yet. Admins can tap the pencil next to a name to:
- change their name or phone number
- turn Make admin on or off, then tap Update
- tap Re-invite to send the text again
- tap Remove to cancel the invite
People who’ve joined
Section titled “People who’ve joined”The Joined card lists everyone in the jaunt, admins first. Each person has an ID card with their jaunts, cities and nights.
Admins can tap the pencil next to someone to:
- turn Make admin on or off, then tap Update
- tap Remove to take them out of the jaunt. Their votes are removed too
No one can remove the owner or take away their admin. To leave yourself, see Leave or delete a jaunt.

The owner is always an admin. To leave, or hand a jaunt over, see Leave or delete a jaunt.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”| You see | What it means |

| “Already invited to this jaunt.” | They’re in Pending. Tap the pencil, then Re-invite |
| “A name is needed to invite someone new.” | They’re new to Jaunt, so add their Full Name |

| “This invite link is no longer valid.” | Ask someone in the jaunt for a fresh link |
Once your friends are in, everyone can start voting.
